The Condura Skyway Marathon is the Philippines' flagship marathon and one of Asia's most unusual courses — runners take over the NAIA Expressway and Skyway elevated toll road above Metro Manila, giving a flyover perspective of the megacity with the Manila Bay sunset glow on the horizon at pre-dawn start. The early 4 AM start is essential in the Philippines' February heat. The flat-to-gently-rolling elevated highway provides very little shade but consistent road surface. Temperatures of 23–28°C and Manila humidity of 70–80% make heat management the primary challenge; the spectacular setting makes this a must-experience race for runners visiting the Philippines.
