The Nice Cannes Marathon runs one of the world's most beautiful point-to-point routes — west from Nice's famous Promenade des Anglais along the Côte d'Azur to Cannes' Boulevard de la Croisette. The entire course follows the Mediterranean coast, passing through the exclusive cliff-hugging villages of Villefranche-sur-Mer, Beaulieu, Monaco (you run through the Principality), Cap d'Ail, Èze, Antibes, Juan-les-Pins, and finishes on the famous Croisette film festival promenade. The 95m of elevation reflects the gentle Riviera cliffs. November conditions — 14–20°C, low humidity — are ideal. Running through Monaco is the highlight: the course uses the actual Formula 1 circuit through the casino section.
