About this race

Prague is one of Central Europe's finest marathon cities — a genuinely fast course in a visually stunning medieval setting. The route starts on Old Town Square and passes through the Lesser Town, across the Nusle Bridge, through Vinohrady and Žižkov, then loops back past Vyšehrad castle and along the Vltava riverbank. The 85m of elevation is minimal, and the course surface is mostly smooth. May temperatures of 12–17°C are well-suited to racing, though the city's Baroque cobblestone sections require careful footing. The half-marathon and relay options draw elite and amateur runners alike, creating a vibrant race atmosphere. Prague is underrated in the international marathon circuit — entry is affordable, accommodation is easy, and the post-race beer culture is unmatched.
